IC3 Program
As part of a Workforce Investment Act initiative, we offer an
Internationally accepted Internet and Core Computing Certification
(IC3) program for youth ages 16 - 21. The program is
open to high school seniors, GED students, and out-of-school youth.
Each student has the opportunity to earn $858 in 120 hours of work,
earn high school or college credit, and gain the work readiness and computer skills
required for employment and post-secondary education. This program is
currently offered at Johnson City high school, Saratoga Heights, and
the Urban League.
As part of the older youth initative managed by Cornell University
Cooperative Extension, the Urban League teaches IC3 to their program
participants.
As part of a Weed and Seed effort, the Urban League offers IC3 to
10 adults living in the Weed and Seed area of Binghamtom free of charge.
