CITY Project
BCUL partners with Cornell University Cooperative Extension
and Gang Prevention in the CITY (Community Improvement Through Youth)
Project. This is a 4-H Signature Program, Youth Community Action,
to promite civic engagement and workforce preparation among 14 – 18
year olds. The CITY Project helps youth become change agents and
create lasting community improvements. Youth meet one day after
school per week to identify and document community needs, and
receive summer employment to implement their improvement plans
and take action in meeting the top most identifed community needs.
This program is in partnership with the New York City’s CITY team.
